GTFTI provided me with opportunity while pursuing the course in Traffic Gastropub , Valentine’s Day Fashion show, St. Xavier’s College's Costume drama Photoshoot, Hoarding Shoot , Mumbai based stylist Shreya Khan and Krishnasur’s Creation designer shoot. Hi,this is Saronita Roy. I enrolled myself in the one year Theatre course at GTFTI to polish my craft and gain an in depth knowledge. I must say after this course I have emerged as a better artist. GTFTI has helped me to get a role in the feature film 'Shesh Pata' by National award winning director and the HOD of the film direction department Mr. Atanu Ghosh. I also got to play a costume drama 'St. Ignatius Of Loyola' directed by Mr. Rajib Gupta. I portrayed a tiny character at the webseries 'Shawb Choritro' for KLIKK directed by Debasish Sen Sharma. Recently I have been roped in as a host of an interactive chat show 'Stay Fit' presented by Narayan Memorial Hospital. I owe this to GTFTI. Thank you so much GTFTI and of course Tuhinaa mam for providing me so many opportunities. I am truly grateful.
I've completed my Theatre course from GTFTI. This course helped me to improve my acting and enhance myself skillset. I've learned so many things from respected Faculty Members & also got placement during the course. Did shoot for Tripathi Creations, St. Xavier's College. I got many opportunities from GTFTI for OTT Platform auditions. I'm really happy and satisfied with the course I completed from this Institute.
Hello my name is Rupsa Rej. I am a student of George Telegraph Film and Television Institute of batch 1 of Modelling section. I did 6months course from here and got few many platforms to showcase my learnings. Firstly, I did a brand shoot of a google approved hijab brand name Rusari . Then, I worked on a film of the director Atanu Ghosh. Next , I did a hoarding shoot from here. Did a story play drama shoot of St.Xavier's College. Worked for a Saree shop name Vastra-Kuttim which is located in Ballygaunge. Did a Kristi Brand saree shoot from here. The honorable faculties/Teachers I got from here are Tuhinaa Pandey ma'am, Sanchita Kushari Bose ma'am, Nick Rampal sir, Indranil Mukherjee sir. I feel glad to have them as my mentors.
It was an enriching learning experience altogether with a wonderful set of faculty. Though I had previous experience of acting in Theatre, I learned few nuances of acting specially in front of camera. I am thankful to GTFTI for such a fruitful experience. Work assignment: acted in a short film directed by Sreyashi Ghoshal, one of the students of the Direction department of GTFTI, as a part of her project film, produced by GTFTI.
